Narpak Citrus Packing and Foreign Trade INC. was established in 1997, located in the southern part of Turkey, 12 km. away from Turkey’s biggest fresh fruit and vegetable port and free trade zone port Mersin. It provides service using 20,000 m˛ total areas with a production capacity of 60.000 tons per year. Narpak is one of the leading packers, exporters and importers of fresh fruit, banana and vegetables in Turkey where all varieties of fresh fruit are processed, cleaned, measured, packed accordingly, and stored. Controlled atmosphere rooms, cold store, degreening and ripening rooms providing service on 3664 m˛ total area, are set up with the highest quality and technology among Turkish competitors.

Narpak's product range is composed of fruits like; citrus fruits, apples, cherries, apricots, pomegranates, figs, grapes etc. While rapidly expanding its product range, the company submits high quality standard products to the world market.
In the packing line Narpak is equipped with a Pomone Grader and Optiscan II electronic color sorting system and a netting machine. According to the type of fruit, Narpak is able to grade up to 20 tons per hour with a 6 lane grader. The grader sizes and color sorts apples and citrus fruits with a range of diameters from 40 to 102 mm. Pomone sorts according to different criteria, such as weight, color, and diameter. This grading machine is then computerized with the Orphea Interphace which provides easy programming and automatic data memorizing at high speeds. The other packing line is made by Spanish brand Juvisa. It is roller system mechanic sizer that has a capacity up to 20 tons per hour. The controlled atmosphere rooms, cold stores, ripening and degreening rooms, were set up by the Italian company Isocell. The cherry grading machine with precooling systems has a capacity of 4 tons per hour and was set up by the Australian Company GP Grader. This machine also provides consumer packing.
